What You’ll Get to Do:
The Theatre Logistics Lead shall have the minimum qualifications and have demonstrated the ability to perform the following duties:Responsible for all PD Aerostats theater logistics
operations within all OCONUS area of Operations.
Coordinates\ with stateside logistics activities and tracks
movement of critical PD Aerostats parts into theater.
Monitor theater parts management and supply distribution channels.
Serve as Program Fourth Party Logistics Manager coordinating with movement control activities, supply support agencies, and theater logistics staff as well as other military and base support functions to ensure all Product Director Aerostats logistics requirements are met.
Liaison with program Theater Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) Liaison Officers (LNO) to facilitate all Theater logistics actions in direct support of critical surveillance missions.
Complete requests and associated documentation for air, ground and sea lift equipment movements to include load plans, Hazardous Material Safety Sheets, transportation requests in accordance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations and Export Administration Regulations as well as Articles of War mandates.
Coordinate Customs inspections, weight and balance activities, Joint Inspections, requestions for material handling equipment, scheduling aircraft load timelines,
Utilize joint logistics procedures, processes, and regulations.
Analyze aerostat helium use data, forecasting requirements, and navigating the Defense Logistics Agency – Energy (DLA-E) polices to obtain helium support.
Coordinate system transportation in and out of areas of operation.
Monitor helium and coordinating helium transportation.
Review logistic support requirements in OCONUS environments.
Perform container management and provide recommendations for inventory disposition.
Assist in site survey analysis.
Assist and provide expertise in the familiarization on aerostats systems.
Secret Security clearance access.

Five (5) years of hands-on experience aerostats Theater logistics experience.
Three (3) years of operations with any aerostat larger than 20 meters in length.
The objective qualifications for the theater logistics lead are:
10 years of hands-on experience working directly with military logistical and supporting agencies.
Five (5) years of logistics experience for aerostats larger than 20 meters in length.
