Specific responsibilitiesContribute to risk management and operational planning support to enable rapid response to humanitarian emergencies and in hard-to-access areas of the Sudan
Contribute to humanitarian access strategy development and implementation, including negotiated security assurances and civil-military coordination
Contribute to broader NRC Sudan workforce plan, to improve national and female career development, diversity and inclusion

Generic professional competencies:
Minimum 3 years of experience from working as a senior Security Manager in a humanitarian / recovery context
Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts
Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities
Knowledge about own leadership skills/profile
Fluency in English, both written and verbal
Valid driver’s license
Context related skills, knowledge and experience:
Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts
Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities

Knowledge of the context in Sudan or East Africa (desired)
