KBR is looking for HSE Security Officer to be based at Majnoon site Basra - Iraq for 28/28 rotation.
Job Description
Provide an interface between KBR SM and client security management.
Maintaining a professional, courteous and strong relationship with client security management.
Assisting KBR SM keep client security management advised of security developments as and when necessary.
Previous experience of having worked with government offices.
Providing input to KBR Security Management documentation and plans.
Engaging with the local security apparatus and maintaining strong relations with them.
Keeping KBR security management appraised of local security matters, including socio-political, cultural, religious and any relevant security factors.
Maintaining day to day working links with KBR SM and client personnel, and be accountable to the KBR SM - for all security matters.
Liaise directly with LN Security POCs.
Assist KBR SM with site visits and audits.
Follow up work (such as close-out actions from audits).
Provide an interface between KBR SM and OPF (and SF), and Iraqi Army.
Advise KBR SM regarding contractor issues on the field.
Strong MS Office skill.
Excellent English language abilities (reading, writing, speaking and listening).
Oil & gas experience an advantage.
Good interpersonal skills.
Full clean driving licence
Assist with any other tasks, as required by the KBR SM.
