Position Summary:
Obera is hiring a qualified OSI LEP (CI) Screener AFRICA to execute effective and responsive integrated support of OSI’s mission in USAFE-AFAFRICA. THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON AWARD.
Responsibilities:
The OSI LEP (CI) Screener will conduct screenings, complete reports, and do all necessary background checks on Local Employed Persons (LEP)s.
Conduct screenings of LEPs attempting to access the base.
Conduct an in-depth interview, records checks, and biometric enrollment.
Conduct Interviews using a standard interview method supported/approved by the Installation Access Application (IAA) and AFOSI.
Conduct the screening in accordance with applicable AFRICOM and AFAFRICA security directives and the established standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Review and develop SOPs based on the local environment, host nation processes, and any applicable US or host nation requirements or laws.
Required Qualifications:
Shall be a civilian equivalent of AFOSI (AFSC 7S071), Naval Criminal Investigative Service, Army CID, or USAF AFSC 3P0X1 (security forces) with 4 years law enforcement or investigations experience, or USA MOS 35L/M, 180 A, 18F, or 35E (Strategic Debriefer or individual with similar skill set) with a minimum of 4 years field experience (not including training time).
Experience with screening, screening tasks, and/or investigative questioning techniques and knowledge of SIPRNet search engines and database retrieval tools such as QueryTree and M3 and screening tools such as Universal Forensic Extraction Devices (UFEDs), BI2R, and SOFEX/DONIS, BATS SEEK/HIDE.
Deployed experience is preferred, but not mandatory.
Screeners with secondary and tertiary African language abilities are highly desired.
Active US DoD SECRET clearance
Additional Required Qualifications:
Have no criminal record
Be at least 22 years of age
Be a U.S. citizen
Possess a current passport (passport shall be at individual or Contractor expense)
Pass a standard physical examination that includes, at a minimum: medical history, height, weight, blood pressure, HIV antibody, and chest x-ray IAW DoDI 3020.41 Change 2
Be physically capable of performing duties, functions, and activities as outlined in this PWS.
Comply with all USG and HN security requirements
Have required immunizations prior to deployment
Be free from communicable diseases, and in general good health
Possess binocular vision correctable to 20/30 (Snellen) and be free of color blindness
Be capable of hearing ordinary conversation at 15 feet with either ear, with or without the benefit of a hearing aid
Possess a US Driver's License
Possess or have ability to obtain International Driver's License
