Job Skills / Requirements
To execute Safety & Security objectives as outlined by 5D Shield’s Policies & Procedures. Close Protection work includes working with clients on a fixed contract and offer a consistent work schedule.
Position Skills:
Exemplary Customer Service in all interactions.
Protect clients from threats of distressing, intentional and unintentional, harm including physical violence.
Premises surveillance such as hotels, restaurants and theatres.
Surveying the layout of venues, noting potential hazards and exposure to risks.
Possess quality skills in empty-hand and weapons defense.
Proficiency in evasive vehicle maneuvers.
Armed Guard Protection of client and client’s assets, varies by detail.
Working around Clients schedule, which can vary depending on the duration of the contract.
Detail may include working indoors and/or outdoors, in various weather conditions, and may involve long periods of standing in one place while maintaining mental focus and presenting positive body language.
Excellent observation skills to spot potentially dangerous situations.
Confidence to react quickly using his/her own initiative.
The ability to work as part of a team.
The ability to remain calm when under pressure and surrounded by dangerous situations.
Discretion, respecting client confidentiality.
Qualification Requirements:
Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
Must be at least 25 years of age.
Basic Technology Skills.
Provide Federally Required documentation for workplace eligibility.
Occasional Travel Required.
Previous security, military, EMS or law enforcement experience preferred, but not required.
Conceal Carry Weapons Permit (Colorado or other reciprocal state).
Denver Merchant Armed Guard License
Ability to pass a background check & drug screen.
