Our Organisation
The Football Association (The FA) is the governing body of football in England. We are responsible for promoting and developing the game at all levels; from grass roots through to the professional game, The FA Cup and the England International teams, and has two core assets: Wembley Stadium and St George’s Park.
The Role
The role holder will ensure 24/7 security at the stadium at all times and ensure its integrity is maintained by the development and implementation of robust crime prevention and anti-terrorist measures
Working with internal and external stakeholders they will provide security advice commensurate to the threat and risk of the event
Key Accountabilities
To provide management and leadership to the permanent security team (PST) shift managers. To develop and implement KPI's and hold monthly performance meetings with PST shift managers
Preparation of pre-event briefing notes and post event reports for the management team
Delivery of regular security inductions and education programs for stadium tenants and partners
Regular review of WNSL contractors security, accreditation and personnel background check policies to ensure compliance
Oversee stadium accreditation operation for both event days and non-event days.
To oversee the supervision and investigation of crime and incident reports in relation to wembley stadium.
To have a full working knowledge of the stadium security systems, procedures and protocols, to consider and implement improvements
To identify learning and facilitate training and development for PST security officers and shift managers
To work in collaboration and partnership with stadium contractors and other stakeholders to develop safe event day and every day security and operational plans
To monitor incident hot spots within the stadium and develop target hardening measures to reduce crime
To advise St George's Park on their security needs when required
To regularly review standard operating procedures (SOP's) as well as the security operations manual (SOM) and incident response plan (IRP)
To undertake the role of project lead for specific security related projects
Execute additional tasks as required in order to meet the stadium and fa group changing priorities
What we are looking for
Essential
Recent experience in a Senior Security Management role
Experience in CCTV management and monitoring
Operational experience in managing critical incidents
Experience in leading and motivating staff
Significant experience in crime prevention, crime investigation and crime detection
Demonstrable experience of writing concise, factual and informative reports
Experience of developing successful and meaningful relationships with stakeholders
Experience of day to day budget management and identifying cost efficiencies
Understanding of GDPR and Human Rights Act
Flexible approach to working hours
Experience of working on own initiatives
Desirable
CCTV management and licence
Commitment to continuing professional development
Proficient in MS Office 365
