Manager, Safety & Security - Brazil

About the Role
The Law Enforcement Outreach Lead will liaise with law enforcement and investigation agencies and to promote Safety. Your role depends on building strong relationships with key external stakeholders at all levels within Brazil.


What You’ll Do
Liaison with Brazilian Law Enforcement to promote the safety of our drivers and riders
Develop strong relationships with domestic law enforcement and government counterparts, as well as private sector peers
Partner with other members of the business to identify, assess, and react to abuse scenarios
Help build and lead Uber's Outreach function in Brazil
Produce reports which are well-written, accurate, concise, and objective
Review investigation case reports and determine logical next steps
Provide case updates to company
Travel on cases as needed (Global travel and domestic for more than 10 days at a time is a possibility)
Develop and execute trainings for internal and external parties

What You’ll Need
A minimum of 10 years of experience but we will consider other candidates if they meet other requirements
Experience in communicating findings orally and in written handouts
Ability to make recommendations to prevent future security vulnerabilities
Demonstrated ability to take the initiative in exploring technical topics
Professional proficiency in English and Portuguese
