Business Context and Job Purpose
Ensure that Travel Security threats to personnel, assets, within Unilever Kenya are properly evaluated and mitigated in a timely and cost effective manner.
Provide co-ordination, supervision on effective execution of security technology systems and solutions, within the realm of Africa Regional Coordination Centres
Co-ordinate operational activities and management information collation as directed by the Security Director
Responsible for coordination of immediate incident response, escalation and immediate reporting on any crisis or serious incident that takes place across the cluster
Provide coordination oversight on Travel security and Incident management programmes and the Anvil travel security system
Liaise with Group Security to ensure compliance with systems reporting and compliance
Evaluate Business Security initiatives and liaise with the Africa Security Director for technical advice on Projects and emerging threats
Compile periodic reports on Security incident trends reported by Regional Centres
Coordinate the bi monthly calls with all CSO’s SSO’s and upload the minutes onto SharePoint
Keep and report security incident stats as directed
Maintain close contact and coordination with the MCO Regional Security Coordination Centre Managers in all 4 MCO’s
Compile and provide such security management information as directed by the Africa Security Director.
Coordinate synergy and standardization of approach and standards on vehicle tracking across the cluster
Main Accountabilities
1. Ensuring effective coordination and standardization of approach by all Regional Coordination Centres
2. Support Africa Director in overall coordination of security activities across the cluster
3. Monitor and follow up on all STEAC operational plans for executive travel security in the cluster
4. Initiate and co-ordinate an immediate response to security incidents where there is a threat to Company employees and assets so as to ensure minimised loss or injury.
5. Maintain and collate security activities and incidents stats as directed
6. Transact on all mandatory reporting systems and ensure that security reports are submitted on time.
7. Support the Unilever loss prevention programme constant synergy between business controls and security controls so that internal loss threats are effectively mitigated.
8. Interact with the Security Training and Standards Manager to support MCO control centres with required training
9. Carry out physical inspections at eth cluster/MCO control rooms with a focus on standardization of approach and standards.

Relevant Experience & Qualification
1. Diploma in Security management but university graduate an added advantage is preferable but not an absolute requirement
2. 5 years Security experience
3. Ability to provide a security input in crisis response
4. Sound understanding of principles in the protection of company information, including computer bases and measures required to achieve this
5. Computer Literate
6. No Criminal Record
7. Control room experience
8. Travel security system exposure
