Tasks
Your main responsibilities will include:-
• Lead and manage the security organization and the implementation of competent functional country support in assigned region and constituent countries.
• Ensure that the respective region operates in alignment with security standards and policies as per ABB's sustainability and security strategy.
• Ensure fiduciary risks related to Security are managed through security representation at Country SA/HSE Board in the region of responsibility.
• Coach, support and provide specialist knowledge and advice to regional leadership on Security matters and report on the performances of the respective organization along ABB's value chain.
• Contribute to the delivery of the Security function’s plans, development of policies and ensure effective risk management through excellence in sustainability along ABB’s value chain through active membership of the ABB Security Council.
Specific position responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the lead security managers currently located in Egypt (Algeria, Ivory Coast, Nigeria), South-Africa (Kenya), Pakistan, India, Saudi Arabia and Iraq.
• Perform lead security management tasks for Gulf region, including monitoring security resources in Iraq
• Provide security expertise for project sites belonging to ABB exporting businesses
• Act as the (deputy) regional crisis coordinator for Asia, Middle-East and Africa
Requirements
You should hold a bachelor's degree in any stream of education with 10 to 15 years of experience in a security environment. Also, a minimum of 5 years of experience in a corporate security environment or a multinational is preferred. Willingness to travel within the region is required.
