The postition is to be filled as soon as possible, with an initial contract duration until 28 February 2019. Employment location will be Duhok, Iraq (KRI).
The main objective of the position is to maintain the highest possible security and safety conditions for all Welthungerhilfe staff working and living in Iraq.
Your responsibilities
Develop, maintain and update Security and Safety SoPs
Conduct Security and Safety Assessments
Act as the Welthungerhilfe liaison officer concerning all security and safety related relations towards external actors
Compose weekly internal security updates
Manage the Welthungerhilfe Iraq security and safety team
Your profile
A relevant university / polytechnic degree, ideally in the field of security management, or training
A minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience in a senior security advisor position, 5 of which in Iraq
Experience in development cooperation preferable
Excellent analytical skills, especially when under considerable working pressure
Experience in the development and conduction of trainings
Excellent cooperation and teamworking skills
A very good command of written and spoken English.
