Job Description
The location for this position is OCONUS at one of the below sites:
Baghdad Iraq, Basira Iraq, or Irbil Iraq
Assists the OM in all aspects of planning, scheduling, organizing, managing, and assessing performance of detection canine support under the contract
Ensures all necessary detection canine support is planned and provided.
Qualifications
US citizen
Valid US issued passport and current driver's license
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and three (3) years of experience supervising working canine teams
An Associate's degree from an accredited institution and five (5) years of experience supervising working canine teams
Ten (10) years of experience supervising working canine teams, with a minimum of three (3) of those years including project management experience
Be familiar with any/all weapons carried on task order aircraft.
Must attend and successfully complete required training
Qualify with the Glock-19 and M4, re-qualifying as required by the task order
Obtain and maintain a personnel security clearance as identified in the task order
Complete the Physical Readiness Test at the 50% performance level, and maintain that fitness level for the duration of the task order
Possess no impediments to traveling overseas to and within countries that are considered dangerous or unhealthy in general, or to the country or countries assigned in the applicable task order in specific.
