Talent Development Programme -Security
The NRC talent development Programme is currently accepting applications from candidates with experience and interest in the area of Security.
Role Specific Information
Roles in Security can typically be exposed to the following responsibilities:
1) Security assessment of locations in the Iraq Country Office area of operations
2) Preparation of weekly summary security report including incidents report
3) Security induction and briefings
4) Tracking of Iraq Country Office staff in all areas of operation
5) Managing of the Iraq Country Office Operations room
Our Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a university graduate with Bachelor degree or equivalent in relevant field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience working as Security Officer, preferably in a humanitarian/recovery context A willingness to serve in potentially insecure environments.
We are particularly looking for positive individuals with a strong commitment to developing their skills and contributing to the greater mandate of NRC.
in addition to :
• Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts
• Demonstrated ability of decision-making, incident management, conflict resolution and negotiation
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal
• Valid driver’s license
• Knowledge of the context in Middle East especially Iraq
In this programme you will join highly motivated and expert staff who are making a difference to the most vulnerable people in the world's biggest displacement crisis.
