Position Description Summary:
The Senior Guard is responsible for overseeing smaller groups of the guard force and/or specific sectors or functions of the guard program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee designated sector/guard force section
Take direction from the Diplomatic Security Agent in Charge

Skills:
Demonstrated effective communications skills including strong written and oral presentation skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment
Ability and willingness to work in hostile and conflict environment
Exercise sound judgment in all areas of responsibility
Ability to maintain effective communications with individuals and agencies from diverse cultures and backgrounds including U.S. Government, host nation government and law enforcement
Maintain effective professional relationships with employees and outside individuals and agencies
Ability to understand and successfully handle various operational issues

Minimum Qualifications:
Must be a U.S. Citizen - must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Level Security Clearance
Completed or served at least five (5) years in the military, law enforcement, or protective security from the private sector
Three (3) of the five (5) years must be supervising guard force personnel
Prior Experience from Federal, State, Local or commercial entities providing high threat protective services
English language proficiency (minimum of Level III)
Fluent in the language of the guard force
Upon hiring the Senior Guard will be required to:
Attend the Guard Force training course
Obtain and maintain weapons qualification as outlined in this contract, with the Glock, M4, Shotgun, M240, M249 and M203 and familiarization fire for the AK47s
