Responsibilities:
• Serve as Senior Advisor to US personnel in support of advisory role to
Afghanistan National Security Clearance Office and/or in direct support to
the CJ2 staff for all CJ2 security issues theater-wide.
• As directed by US personnel, the Special Advisor will assist US personnel
in setting, implementing and monitoring policy.
• The Senior Security Management Special Advisor will support US personnel
in assisting advisory roles in establishment of systems for both personnel
and information security.
• This position shall be capable of performing all tasks of the SSMA.
Requires Skills and Experience
• Minimum of 5 years experience in compartmented programs in DoD, U.S.
Intelligence Community or supporting U.S. contractors. Experience in security
training or security inspections is highly desirable.
• Solid and varied experience in planning/accrediting facilities in accordance
with the DCID 1/21 standard.
• Thorough familiarity with all security clearance processes.
• Working knowledge of security policies and procedures to include NISPOM,
NISPOM Supplement, DCIDs, and DIA M-1 Manual.
Required Education
• Associate’s degree, a Bachelor’s degree preferred
