Nestle seeks to employ an experienced Country Security Manager to ensure protection of the company’s tangible and intangible assets. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience and knowledge in the areas of occupational crime, all aspects of physical security including guarding and surveillance, and forensic
investigations. The role presents a challenging opportunity to candidate who is adequately trained, competent and experienced in risk mitigation, corporate governance, compliance and security.
Key Responsibilities will include:
· Ensuring protection of company brands, assets, people, information and reputation
· Controlling risk by identifying and tracking risk areas
· Developing risk mitigation plans as part of risk handling and risk monitoring
· Enable Nestlé management to raise risk awareness, anticipate risks early and to make sound business decisions throughout the Group by understanding the relative business impact of different types of risks, their root causes and the correlations among interdependent risks
· Aim at identifying and quantifying tangible (financial, operational, physical, human assets, etc.) and intangible (reputation, brand image, intellectual property, etc.) risks in a transparent manner
· Manage loss control and reduction
· Manage all aspects of physical security at Nestlé sites nationally
· Ensure compliance with local legislation
· Conduct forensic investigations into all occupational crime and corruption
· Crisis Management
· Administration of all contracts and site incident reports and site security
Key Experience and Qualifications:
Relevant Policing, Forensic or Physical Security qualifications,
Candidates from the National Intelligence Agency, South African Defense Force and South African Navy with experience in security, compliance and governance are also invited to apply.Record of Participation in efficiency and best practice projects
Experience and participation in project management
Experience within physical security
Proficiency in English and at least one other local language
Knowledgeable in the legislative framework in South Africa
In depth understanding and exposure to South African Police Services and/or National Prosecuting Authority processes and procedures
Good report writing and communication skills
