Job description
The University is seeking to recruit an experienced Security Manager with strong leadership skills, customer focus and a commitment to ensuring that crime within the University continues to fall.
With a team of 40+ you will manage all aspects of security including: Service Level Agreements, Control, Patrols, CCTV monitoring, Parking, Crime Prevention Advice and Emergency response. Operating 24 hours a day, this is not a 9 to 5 role and you will need to manage your time effectively.
You will have:
- Significant previous experience in a similar role
- Excellent management and organisation skills
- Experience of assessing crime reduction priorities
- A flexible and committed approach
- An ability to work on your own initiative and to deadlines
- A full driving license is essential for this role to enable travel between campuses.
