Position: EMT Lead
Country: Democratic Republic of the Congo
The EMT Lead will be responsible for providing Intermediate Life Support (ILS) treatment to all casualties in the event of an aircraft or other airfield emergency. Perform triage at aviation emergencies. Inspect and ensure that the ambulance and equipment are operationally checked before the first aircraft movement daily. Participate in physical exercise training sessions.
Requirement Note:
The EMT Lead must have 8 years experience as an EMT. Certified in Intermediate Life Support (ILS), Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and Electro Cardio Gram (ECG). The candidate must be in possession of a valid professional license as EMT and be registerd member of the medical council in his/her Country of Origin. Good communication skills in English. Valid driver’s license. In possession of an Advance Cardio Life Support (ACLS) certificate will be an advantage.French will be an advantage. Good computer skills ( Microsoft Word and Excel). Must be able to work in austere conditions in Africa.
