Security Manager , United Arab Emirates

Responsibilities:
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES l Protect corporate property, assets interest and reputation by pro-active profit retention, asset protection and loss reduction measures.l Monitoring of controls, policies and procedures to ensure the safety if staff and passengers and to comply with government regulations.l Manage security staff, all aspects of operational security and contingencies.l Plan and undertake the professional development of self and security staff by sharing expertise and knowledge through coaching and formal training program.l Conduct audits and inspections to ensure that recommendations have been implemented are suitable and adequate with clarity of responsibilities and accountabilities.l Ensure security staff carry out high standards of document checking and security proceduresl Formulate overall Security procedure for acceptance by Senior management.l Develop and promulgate company's security standards and practices to ensure that Line Managers have necessary directions and control.l Assessing threats & risk.l Developing and publishing policies to counter the threats and risk in accordance with International Governmental requirements.l Advising Managers on the implementation of counter measures.l Initiate special security measures during periods of incidents of increased threats.l Monitoring the quality of the security measures being applied throughout network by regular evaluation and inspections and by encouraging internal security training courses.Provide specialized advice to training department for development of effective and relevant security training courses.l Investigating criminal activity and malpractice.QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCEl Minimum University graduate from an accredited institution.l Minimum 5 years experience in Aviation security industry.l Minimum 5 years in training field.l Basic knowledge of investigation procedures.l Experienced in implementation and maintenance of global security strategy.Trainings: l Must have attended appropriate Government/IATA Aviation Security course for Security Managers. l Must have completed investigations/interview techniques courses including techniques in detection of forged travel documents and passenger profiling.l Skilled report writing is required to ensure that complex reports are properly and clearly described.l Must be system literate and familiar with a range of IT systems.Knowledge:l Knowledge of current and developing technical equipment/facilities, techniques for loss reduction, audit processes and management practices. l Sound knowledge of Government Immigration Acts, Police & Criminal Evidence Acts. Extensive background knowledge in analysis of corporate security issues, solution and policies.
