Background
Erinys is currently delivering a range of security and support services to commercial clients throughout Central Africa. We have a requirement for an experienced ISPS qualified consultant to perform a security audit on port facilities in the region.
Task
Lead and coordinate a full team of national staff to secure onshore oil fields.
Operations
Manage a Local Guard Force (83 posts), 5 intervention teams (QRF) and a small dog unit
Supervise national supervisors, inspectors and security agents
Liaise with the operations department to organize logistical support and national staff rotation
Conduct spot checks during mobile patrols
Interface with the Client about daily incidents/accidents
Report to the Corporate security manager and internal operations manager (daily)
Set up and control SOP’s on site
Check duty roster and daily attendance
Control and implement quality security standards
Control the implementation of the Client HSE policy
Organize and check the use of the security base
Admin
Liaise with the Finance and Administration department to update personal files
Control the implementation of the company internal rules and discipline
Check the implementation of disciplinary sanctions
Correspondence and filing.
Essential Qualifications
Expatriate
Verifiable performance record for security project management
Fluent in French and English
Highly developed written abilities (both in French and English)
IT literate
Desirable Qualifications
Central Africa experience
Experience of working in the extractive industries.
Remuneration
Industry competitive
Accommodation, transport, insurance, medical support and communications provided in country
4 weeks in/ 4 weeks out (back to back) including return international flights
Wage to be agreed depending on experience and past records
