•Provide physician assistant services at post, including treatment of illness or minor injuries suffered during security operations
•Stabilize and prepare sick and injured personnel to a high level medical facility
•Ensure that medical kits supplied to all personnel and those medical kits provided by the contract for placement in operational vehicles are maintained as to contents and serviceability
•Designated as support (S)
Tasks Performed•Must be a U.S. Citizen
•Level 3 English proficiency
•Training and certified to current U.S. standards - recognized standards
•Five (5) years experience working as a Physician's Assistant (PA), with a majority of the experience being within an emergency room and/or in direct support of military operations
•Have experience/knowledge in current TCCC guidelines
•Must be at least 21 years of age
•Must have valid, current driver’s license and passport
•In the case of military service, all military discharges must have been under honorable conditions
•No impediments to traveling overseas to and within countries that are considered dangerous or unhealthy
•Must pass detailed medical evaluation and physical fitness test
•Must be able to obtain and maintain a Personnel Security clearance and/or Public Trust Certification
•Required to attend the non-PSS training course as outlined in this contract
•Shall obtain weapons qualification as outlined in this contract and task ordersDesired Job Experience•Strong written and oral presentation skills
