Loss Prevention Manager , Brazil

Summary
This is a new position and currently has no direct reports. The incumbent will develop and maintain strong dotted line relationships with South America country general managers and their staffs in Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela and remain poised to support additional growth throughout the region. Travel is approximately 75%.

Responsiblities
This position is responsible for managing loss prevention and security field operations and programs protect human and material resources for all company divisions operating across South America. The position manages and resolves loss prevention and security related issues at all facilities, client, offices, and retail stores that impact inventory, fixed assets, liquid assets, human resources and other tangible and intangible facets and potentially adverse financial consequences to the company.
This position will coordinate, consult, review and assist in the successful completion of all field investigations operational related work. They will conduct on-site facility evaluations and internal investigations submit progress reports, ensure compliance with company, and specific loss prevention security programs, and identify factors responsible for financial losses and provide technical expertise in resolving risks associated with those factors.

The loss prevention manager will assist in overseeing the development, standardization and procurement of physical security systems policy as it relates to the facilities physical security design hardware components, as well as loss prevention and security programs. They will assist with the oversight of executive protection and international employee travel safety initiatives.

COMPETENCIES/ABILITIES
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
Certification for CPP, PCI or CFE. preferred
7 to 10 years managerial experience in a corporate loss prevention position in Latin America.
Solid background implementing loss prevention programs
Solid background in managing investigations to include fraud
Experience with facility security assessments, emergency planning and executive protection programs.
Expertise in multiple site, multiple country retail operations area
Must be fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and English
Currently reside in Brazil
