Country Manager , Guatemala

Location: Americas - Guatemala

Qualification
This role is the lead for the business in Guatemala, with responsibility to plan, organize, and manage operations to achieve short- and long-term operating objectives including revenue, net income, contract compliance, customer satisfaction, and new business development. The position manages a small team of directors, focused on Finance, Operations, Logistics and Human Resources

Responsibilities
• Designs, develops, and directs the implementation of operational policies, procedures, and practices to ensure contract conformance, client satisfaction, statutory compliance, and to meet global quality standards.
• Plans, organizes, and manages day-to-day operations to achieve quarterly and annual financial targets for revenue and net income.
• Manages labor relations to ensure operational continuity and minimum interference.
• Recruits, develops, and directs a staff capable of attaining functional objectives.
• Prepares detailed routine reports on key metrics to keep the center advised as to local operations.
• Prepares ad hoc analysis as requested.

Candidate Profile
Required:
• Minimum ten years’ security operations experience attained in a combination of military, law enforcement,
and/or commercial organizations requiring the leading of 200 or more personnel.
• Bilingual Spanish/English
• Demonstrated experience in managing Profit & Loss of a local entity
• Demonstrated organizing skills and attention to detail. Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.

Preferred:
• Work experience gained in Guatemala
• Experience in managing security contracts for clients in mining, and diplomatic missions
• General management experience, e.g., experience managing Operations, Finance, Logistics, Human Resources, Labor Relations, Legal, and Business Development.
