Name of the Post: Chief Security Officer in E-6 grade (in the rank of Addl. General Manager)

Scale of Pay: PB-IV Rs.37, 400-67,000/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 8700/-
Mode of Recruitment: Regular Basis
Eligibility Criteria:

1. Lt. Col./ Colonel / Wing Cdr/ Gp Capt./ Cdr of Defence Services or of equivalent rank from Para Military/ Police Service.
2. Should have minimum 20 years of service in Defence/ Para Military/ Police Services.
3. Should be Security Course qualified from any Govt. approved institute OR minimum 05 years Industrial experience preferably in a Govt. organization /PSUs.
4. Should be medically fit.

Maximum Age limit: 55 years of age as on 31st July, 2011.
General Conditions:

1. Preference shall be given to the candidates having experience in handling risk & disaster related duties including handling of modern security electronic equipments, Planning & Organizing Security Sector as well as re-vamping of Security Measures of any Organization having large numbers of Security Personnel.
2. The selection will be made on the basis of Personal Interview of eligible short-listed candidates.
3. Besides Basic Pay & Grade Pay in the prescribed Pay Scale, other benefits like CPF, Gratuity, Leave, LTC, Dearness Allowance, HRA in lieu of accommodation, Conveyance Expenses, Medical facilities for Self & Dependants, Domestic Assistance Allowance, Liveries, Special Allowance incase allowed to work in SAP System, etc. shall be extended as per Rules of the Corporation.
4. This service is not pensionable.
5. The Head Quarter of the Chief Security Officer will be the OMC Corporate Office at Bhubaneswar. But the Chief Security Officer will be required to visit various mines & field establishments of OMC for at least 07 to 10 days in a month. Usual TA/DA will be paid for official tours.
6. OMC reserves the right to cancel the interview without assigning any reason thereof.
