Competencies
* The ability to conduct residential security surveys of UN international staff and recommending physical security measures to the staff member.
* Preparing justification for residential security measures as required.
* Advising staff on obtaining domestic drivers/servants/assistants.
* Receiving information from the UN agency staff members with regard to their planned visitors to facilitate their entrance.
* To ensure that the UN SOP for the UN house in Mishref are implemented including the access control measures and checking all UN visitors as per the rules and SOPs.
* Conducting office security surveys and recommending physical security measures to the concerned agency head of office and SA.
* Assisting in the selection of office guards.
* Ensuring that fire safety arrangements (fire extinguishers, smoke detectors etc.) are in UN premises.
* Preparing fire/building evacuation plans and conducting periodical drills
* Checking all office spaces after working hours to ensure that is properly locked
* To keep a copy of building master key and office access card and keep a proper log for all events related
* To maintain a log records for all security guards activities and actions during their duties.
Required Skills and Experience
Education: High Secondary School Certificate and relevant security training.
Experience: Must have a military, security and police background experience. At least three years of relevant working experience. Attentiveness in application of rules and procedures
Languages: English (prefered Arabic).
