Protective Security Specialist / Emergency Medical Technician - Intermediate

Project Manager

Position Summary
Medic support to principal and security detail members.

Position Responsibilities
•Conduct protective security operations and provide medic support as required
•Driving the lead vehicle, principal’s vehicle, or follow-vehicle, whenever required in motorcade or similar operations
•Driving follow-vehicle and/or acting as response agent. Carries and operates weapons as specified in daily post and detail orders, or upon orders from the detail leader or shift leader
•Maintaining protective formation position during principal’s walking movements
•Participating in advance security preparations
•Manning the security post at principal’s residence or manning the Command Post, as required


Essential Skills and Experience
•US Citizen
•Must have a valid US Driver's License and US Tourist Passport
•Ability to obtain a secret clearance
•Must be able to meet Federal Law Enforcement Physical Efficiency Battery standards while at training course
•Must have a minimum of three years experience as a medic (Federal Government, military, law enforcement, federal agencies, or commercial executive protection services with military or police background)
•Successful completion of State or National Registry EMT-Intermediate/85 written and practical examinations.
•Submission of current approved CPR credentials for the professional rescuer
•Registration must be valid for the period of deployment
•Candidates with invalid registration should review the requirements at www.nremt.org.
•Must have no felony or domestic violence conviction. Record of recent recurring misdemeanors may adversely impact candidates' suitability rating
•Employment with Triple Canopy is contingent upon a favorable background check to include no serious financial problems in the past seven years

Physical Demands and Work Environment
Must be prepared to live and work in an austere environment. Must be willing to work seven days a week, 12 hours a day.
