At Eni, we are looking for a Security Advisor to join Eni Iraq in Basra. In this role, you will support the Head of Security in the implementation, coordination and administration of security operations in Iraq, contributing to the protection of personnel, assets, information and Company operations through the effective management of security activities, contractor oversight, compliance monitoring, reporting and operational support.

Main Responsibilities
Support the Head of Security in coordinating and implementing security activities in Iraq, ensuring compliance with Company policies, procedures, and security standards.
Assist in the management of security service contracts, monitoring contractor performance, verifying deliverables, and ensuring contractual compliance.
Prepare, review, and maintain security-related documentation, reports, records, invoices, and operational databases.
Coordinate with internal departments and contractors on personnel documentation, access authorisations, travel security arrangements, and mobilisation activities.
Contribute to Security Risk Management activities, including risk assessments, threat identification, and the implementation of mitigation measures.
Monitor and report security incidents, operational risks, and local developments, providing timely information to relevant stakeholders.
Assist in implementing security procedures, emergency response measures, audits, inspections, and compliance verification activities.
Liaise with contractors, local authorities, and internal stakeholders on operational and administrative security matters.
Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and other management documentation while ensuring the confidential handling of sensitive information.
Maintain professional knowledge of security standards, Company procedures, and local operational requirements, and undertake any other duties assigned by the Head of Security.
Skills And Experience Required
Good knowledge of security procedures, operational security practices, and Security Risk Management processes in complex environments.
Understanding of administrative processes, contract management, and compliance with Company policies and procedures.
Significant experience in the security industry or a corporate security environment, preferably supporting industrial or Oil & Gas operations.
Experience supporting security service contracts, including contractor coordination, reporting, and compliance monitoring.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong organisational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the management of documentation, records, and databases.
Ability to prepare clear and professional reports, presentations, and operational summaries.
Ability to work under pressure, maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive information appropriately.
High standards of integrity, reliability, and professionalism.
Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic.
