Control Risks is currently looking to hire a Senior Manager, Global Security Investigations to support a global pharmaceutical client, based in their regional offices in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Senior Manager will assume responsibility for leading the management of investigations and the handling of product security incidents for the client in the APAC region. They will also provide expert advice in relation to brand protection and/or product security to business stakeholders.
Key accountabilities:
Requirements
5 plus years’ experience in managing complex investigations across multiple business markets.
Experience in managing third party providers.
Experience at a regional level in multinational corporate environment in a regulated industry.
Commercial experience dealing with and influencing business stakeholders.
Experience of liaising with law enforcement / government bodies .
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent vocational experience, with formal qualification in investigations, intelligence and or law enforcement.

Key accountabilities:
Responsible for the management of illegal trade investigations within the APAC region.
Management of investigations cases from intake through to conclusion, prioritizing resources based on safety requirements.
Support Operations and the Supply Chain Security Manager by managing intake, triage and investigation of thefts reported within the region of responsibility.
Works with key market stakeholders within the region to understand how illegal trade impacts the geography and to support prevention of illegal trade .
Ensure that suspect sample testing is conducted on a timely basis, and liaise regularly with stakeholders across multiple functions including QA, Regulatory Affairs, Legal.
Represent the client at a regional level with law enforcement agencies, regulatory authorities, investigative consultants and counterparts within the industry to ensure successful outcomes are achieved.
Develop operational investigation plans to reduce the impact of illegal activity involving the client's products and materials.
Liaises with key business stakeholders to understand product security needs and, support the Director of Global Security Investigations in developing strategies to support those needs globally and across the entire product portfolio.
Manages third party suppliers of investigations services and is accountable for service delivery according to a Statement of Work aligned to an approved investigation plan.
Ensures that operational delivery is compliant with all relevant Regulatory, including Safety, Health and Environment and Quality, requirements.
Accountable for regional delivery against Key Performance Indicators for illegal trade investigations.Maintain policy, procedures and processes owned by Global Security Investigations team.
