30 hours per week - limited to 1 year with possibility of extension.
Base Salary: € 2.309,84
What you will do:
Work with the Emergency Response Team and Europe Team to develop, evaluate, review and update the Ukraine Local Safety and Security Plans
develop, review and implement standard operating procedures and contingency plans
develop, evaluate, review and update hibernation, relocation and evacuation plans as well as medical response plans
Lead on risk assessments for planned office and residences. Ensure compliance with safety and security standards
Undertake assessments as to standard equipment needed.
Lead in supporting visits to Ukraine by Programme Managers, Communications and other internal stakeholders
Actively monitor the situation in Ukraine and provide analysis and advice accordingly
Strengthen the capacity of the Ukraine Team and other stakeholders visiting Ukraine in personal safety and security risk management and ensure compliance of the team with the security rules and procedures
Establish and maintain relationships with other security focal points
Support in incident and crisis management
Frequent travel to Ukraine
Support the Head of Emergency Response in providing safety and security support to other countries where needed
Direct reporting line to the Head of Emergency Response. Key interfaces: Head of Europe Team, Local Safety and Security Focal Points for Ukraine
What you will bring:

What you will bring:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in the international humanitarian sector with demonstrated capabilities in planning, organizing and executing security operations in the field
Understanding of humanitarian principles and security risk management in a humanitarian context for humanitarians
Strong experience in capacity building
Strong knowledge in communications technology
Regional experience strongly preferred
Fluency in English
Ukrainian / Russian language skills a plus
Ability to work under stress
Ability to work independently and result-oriented
Ability to be agile and to adapt
Capacity building skills
Positive communication and networking skills

What Caritas offers:
Gross monthly salary for 30 hours per week between € 2.309,84 and 2.654,51 gross with the possibility of overpayment and depending on professional experience and qualifications; if you receive family allowance: child allowance of € 50,15 gross per child.
1-year contract with possibility of extension
