Position Description
The Full time access control guard reports directly to the Site Manager or his designated representative.
An access guard duties include but not limited to:
Access control to the building through verification of information on authorized Access Rosters.
Issuance of authorized Visitor badges to the building.
Maintaining access logbooks for all access to building.
Maintain government provided Security access lists/databases.
Answering the telephone and responding to requests for information about the trainers and scheduled events.
Compile Simulator Schedule Data and create Operator Schedules for daily simulator activity.
Data entry for Training Device Utilization Records.
Data entry into Badge Access Control System.
Responsible to report any irregularities or problems to the Site Manager for resolution.
Will be responsible for the cleanliness of the guard station.
Work any shift and weekends as specified by Contract for this site.
Perform other tasks as assigned.

Position Requirements
Requires mental alertness and ability to follow written and verbal instructions given in English.
Physical ability to walk, stand, and/or sit for extended periods of time, and to climb two (2) flight of stairs is required.
Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds.
Must present a professional appearance in dress and demeanor at all times.
Must be able to work well with all levels of Military and Civilian personnel.
It is required that a Full Time Guard must have a High School diploma or equivalent certification.
Must be computer literate and be able to use and access basic computer programs (Microsoft products, Excel, PDF etc.)
Applicant must be a US Citizen, possess the ability to secure a US Passport.
Applicant will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to receive and maintain a SECRET clearance for access to classified information.
