The Country Security Manager NA provides tactical security services to J&J companies cross-sector (Pharma and Medtech) in NA to include the US and Canada.
The main objective of the position is to develop and supervise implementation of a country security strategy based on the actual as well as anticipated future risks. The strategy will be in alignment with the J&J Global Security (GS) regional strategy and the J&J Business Priorities.

To develop, present and successfully complete an annual security strategy in alignment with the Global Security Strategic Objectives.
Conduct/ Coordinate internal investigations (e.g. theft, work place violence, employee misconduct, …)

Site security:
Conduct risk and gap assessments in alignment with the Global Security Assessment Program guidelines.
Evaluate and determine the site risk level
Develop and present a site risk mitigation program
Implementation of GS policies and procedures
Liaise with Local and Federal law enforcement officials
Track performance through monthly review of J&J Global Security KPI’s.
Crisis response: Develop crisis response plans for plausible crisis scenario’s
Member of the country crisis management team
Supervise development of emergency plans
Coordinate crisis management actions and resources
Evaluate and determine the site risk level
Develop and present a site risk mitigation program
Implementation of GS policies and procedures
Liaise with Local and Federal law enforcement officials
Track performance through monthly review of J&J Global Security KPI’s.

Security SPOC for local and sub-regional business leadership
Represent J&J for security topics during government inspections and J&J audits

SME support for security projects:
Develop, review and approve security design plans for new sites and buildings
Ensure compliance with the J&J Global security minimum standards and systems
Manage the GS country budget.
Actively prospect security innovations
Support the travel security program (e.g. assess safe hotel accommodations, transportation, restaurants, …)
Support HR and Business Leadership during high-risk employee separations
Evaluate and present cost optimization opportunities and capital projects to business stakeholders
Event security (e.g. large business meetings, VIP visits, …)
Executive and travel protection assignment coordination
To conduct upon request a security assessment for the residences of Business leaders based in high-risk areas and provide security recommendations.
To develop and implement a Background Check Program for employees and contractors in alignment with Global Security guidance and local laws.
To develop and maintain a Security Culture among the employees and contractors.
Conduct internal security surveys and utilize results to improve processes and procedures for security services in country.
To coordinate regular internal Voice of the Customer (VOC) surveys to obtain feedback from the business stakeholders on the quality and satisfaction of the overall security services as well as evaluating their expectations.
To keep permanent contact with internal and external stakeholders

Comfortable when speaking in public and able to develop presentational skills and accustomed to organizing and delivering security training programs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Criminology and Police sciences, Forensic Sciences, Security management or equivalent through experience. BBA/MBA (is a plus)
Other Programs: ASIS Member (desired) and APP, CPP, PSP or equivalent (is a plus).At least 10 years in a corporate security management position (middle-management level), preferably in a multinational, multicultural and diverse environment.
Travel expectations of 30% of the time (domestically and occasional international travel)
