Summary:
Support the Regional Security Office (RSO) Logistics department at the U.S. Embassy, Baghdad, Iraq. Provide logistical support and property management to include warehouse and supply duties, fleet management, munitions accountably, asset tracking, equipment inventory, office management, clerical duties, document review for content and format, and file maintenance. Coordinate vehicle repairs and maintenance, schedule inventories, and assist with RSO projects. Provide strong customer service skills. Maintain accurate records. The incumbent uses a variety of administrative and communication skills to help manage the day-to-day operations of the RSO Logistics Office’s activities and programs and shall stay abreast of security notices and policies.
Essential Duties: 
Performs the required general administrative and logistical functions.
Prepares and maintains records, including property, maintenance, and operational records.
Prepares periodic/scheduled reports.
Performs fleet accountably, property and supply control and inventory tracking.
Coordinates shipping arrangements, documenting that the proper customs, procedures, and standards are adhered to.
Maintains active and accurate accounting of all RSO Logistics equipment and supplies, through a computerized file and accounting system.
Process, monitor and track procurement orders, work orders and statuses of maintenance requests.
Ensure records and data management/practices are compliant with Government regulations.
Ensure existence, completeness, and accuracy of database files, and perform detailed analysis/audits of records to ensure accuracy.
Ensures customers, officials and other Government employees are handled in a professional and courteous manner both on the telephone and in person.
Other administrative functions and duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Level three (3) English language proficiency.
Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license and U. S. tourist passport.
Must possess either a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or a current Certified Professional Property Specialist (CPPS) certification (www.npma.org).
A minimum of three (3) years of overseas logistics and administrative experience.
A minimum of two (2) years of this experience must have been in property and supply.
A minimum of one (1) year of this experience must have been in procurement.
Proficiency with MS Office, to include Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Effective oral and written communication skills with all levels of the organization.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities to completion.
Problem solving skills with an analytical thought process.
Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
Must be able to obtain and maintain required security clearance for the duration of the contract.


WORKING CONDITIONS
Must possess no impediments to travel overseas to and within countries that are considered dangerous or unhealthy in general, or to the country or countries assigned in the applicable. Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Possess the ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to fifty (50) pounds. May be required to lift and carry awkward items within extreme weather conditions.

LANGUAGE(S)
Level 4/4 in English is required.
