IDS is seeking two (2) Bodyguard Shift Leaders to oversee and manage a team of bodyguards for a government contract. The Bodyguard Shift Leader shall have experience in close protection security operations, defensive tactics, and management of small to medium size security teams. A Top-Secret Clearance is required for the role.
This position is a 2-year contract and is located outside of the continental United States (OCONUS).

Provide proactive management at the team level, manage and direct close protection operations on a day-to-day basis.
Directly supervise all bodyguards and ensure that all close protection assignments including advance work are properly covered and that the detail/team is operating smoothly, in accordance with schedule and pre-set plans.
Prepare written reports and logs.
Maintain and manage communication between all parties.
Provide risk management planning and performing qualitative risk analysis.
Required Qualifications:
Directly supervise all bodyguards and ensure that all close protection assignments including advance work are properly covered and that the detail/team is operating smoothly, in accordance with schedule and pre-set plans.

Required Qualifications:
Active Top Secret Clearance
Associate Degree or Higher
Five (5) years experience with close protection assignments
Two (2) years of supervisory work experience
Able to use a computer including all common office management tools (e.g. Microsoft Office)
Experience with multiple levels of communication between various levels of management
Experience managing close protection security teams
Proficient in all areas of close protection operations
Must understand operational methods of all close protection and guard force units and zones for response, and maintain a professional demeanor under highly stressful circumstances
Experienced in basic communications and radio use and procedures.
Maintain and manage communication between all parties
Provide risk management planning and performing qualitative risk analysis
Experience with acquiring, developing, and managing project teams
Must be an effective communicator both verbally and in writing. Most positions require ability to work on a desktop or laptop computer for extended periods of time. Computer activities include reading, reviewing and analyzing information, as well as providing recommendations, summaries, and reports in written or verbal format. Additionally, positions require ability to sit at a workstation for extended periods; use hand(s) to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; as well as speak and hear.
Employee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically less than 20 pounds. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
