In the role of Risk Analysis Manager Afghanistan (RAM) you will be required to produce written reports to a high standard that will be delivered to an educated and informed client base. You will identify gaps in information systems that the client requires, and subsequently derive methods of fulfilling them. You will be expected to maintain databases that support the client from a risk management perspective.

You will plot incidents and activity country-wide onto software systems, conduct area research for specific tasks, deliver accurate and timely threat assessments, collect, collate, analyze and disseminate pertinent security and politically related information countrywide. You will deliver verbal presentations to senior clients, deliver high quality written responses to requests for information. You will produce accurate, detailed and timely reports on specific events of note, supporting the Senior Risk Analysis Manager, GW Operations staff Afghanistan, and GardaWorld Global Head Offices as required.

Site Security Surveys and Vulnerability Studies (SSVS) - you may be called upon to conduct extensive surveys of client premises, providing the appropriate reports in both written and verbal formats as dictated by the client.

You will be called upon to act as final QC and editor for GardaWorld’s Haiti risk advisory reports and to remotely oversee their production in Dubai.

Training – You may be called upon to deliver basic analytical training to commercial entities in country as required on behalf of the company.

Role Requirements

Degree educated and/or equivalent level of experience.
Minimum of five years security intelligence experience.
A firm understanding of the Afghanistan political and security situation countrywide highly desirable
Must be comfortable working as a standalone subject matter expert embedded as part of a small operational team.
Must be comfortable and capable using IT equipment, MS Office, and associated programs.
Written and verbal English grammar must be to an excellent standard.
Must be confident, and capable of creating and delivering presentations to senior clients, small and larger sized audiences.
Must be able to efficiently research and interrogate information systems and present findings in both verbal and written formats.
Being suitably qualified and able to assist with operations as required and directed is desirable in the earlier stages of establishing the GardaWorld presence.
Preferably be ex-military or law enforcement with an excellent record of conduct, must not have a criminal record and must not be dishonourably discharged from any employment.
