Position Overview:

The Police Trainers are responsible for instructing Haitian National Police officers with varied levels of rank, expertise and policing experience in armed tactical operations, including Hostage/Rescue Training, Immediate Action /Rapid Deployment and Multiple Threat Responses, Aircraft / Vessel (Tubular) Assaults, and their respective philosophies and principles for a specialized tactical training contract with our Government customer in Haiti.

This opportunity is for a POTENTIAL CONTRACT award and is contingent upon the contract being awarded. Consideration for a potential contract may require a signed letter of intent. If the contract is awarded, another position posting will be available on the Company Careers portal

Primary/Major Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

Responsible for instructing officers with varied levels of rank, expertise and policing experience in armed tactical operations.


Required Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum eight (8) years active duty military/policing experience, including demonstrated experience in multiple threat situations
Minimum three (3) years’ experience with training programs including coordinating, assessing, and conducting successful training in an international setting, preferably in the Caribbean or Latin America;
Demonstrated experience coordinating and conducting successful training using simultaneous interpretation
Must have experience in administering law enforcement training programs.
Must have experience instructing in a classroom and practical setting on the knowledge, techniques, skills, and procedures necessary to execute the duties of police officers.
No negative prior experience working with INL, and never removed from any USG mission or civilian policing activity
Excellent interpersonal and written and oral communication skills
Speaks, reads, and writes in fluent English.
Ability to complete Moderate Risk Public Trust background investigation
Fluent in French and/or Creole (desired but not required).
