Description

The Protective Intelligence Team is part of the Global Security Intelligence and Investigations Team within our client’s Global Security function. The mission of the Protective Intelligence Team is to provide world class protective intelligence services by delivering the most integrated, efficient, and comprehensive threat assessment solutions in order to identify and understand the full spectrum of threats facing the leaders of our client’s organization. The role will focus on collecting and analysing open-source intelligence as well as mitigating risk and delivering written and verbal reports to the team.The Specialist should be collaborative but able to work independently. As can be expected due to the nature of the role, in the event of an incident there may be a need to work evenings, weekends or holidays, so a flexible approach is required.Analyse data from a variety of sources and compile into an organized report to identify trends and potential risk to leadership.
Complete team projects and products at the direction of the Regional Protective Intelligence Manager.
Leverage intelligence analysis skills in order to analyse and assess all-source information for the production of protective intelligence and threat analysis. Travel to regional and global offices and events annually (<25%).
Follow company procedures and processes as it relates to Global Security best practices, and handling of confidential information.
Appropriately leverage resources, technology, information, and tactics to protect reputation and minimise risk to leadership.
Under certain circumstances, present oral briefings.
Identify opportunities for the creation of new products or reports to drive impact for Protective Intelligence and key cross-functional partners.
Develop information and technical support documents, summaries, reports, presentations and other designated products in support of the overall business needs.
Provide threat recommendations to the team.

Requirements

Required
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, e.g. security studies, terrorism, politics, criminology, international relations, etc. or 2+ years in an intelligence or security-related analytical position.
Demonstrable proficiency in working with data and data manipulation tools
Skills and abilities in open-source intelligence analysis and/or political and security industry trends
Ability to be creative to solve complex problems.
Self-motivated and a critical thinker.
Experience working with highly confidential information.
Experienced in Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) and Social Media Intelligence (SOCINT)
Able to work to tight deadlines.
Fluent in Arabic
Work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Desired:
2+ years of work experience in analytical disciplines.
Language proficiency in a language other than English.
Graphic design/presentation and product building skills.
Prior Protective Intelligence or analytical experience
