Location - Basra & Baghdad, Iraq
Leave Rotation - 8 weeks on, 4 weeks off subject to operational requirements.
Essential Hiring Criteria:
The SSM must have:
· At least six (5) years experience operating in high-risk environments
· Previous military or law enforcement experience of not less than ten (10) years with an excellent record of conduct.
Must not have a criminal record and must not have been dishonourably discharged from service or convicted under the Defence Force Disciplinary Act (1982) (or equivalent) or terminated from employment.
· Sound knowledge and skillsets regarding the planning and execution of base security operations including management of a static guard force in a high threat environment
· Excellent communication skills, with experience in multiple levels of communication between various levels of management, internal and external
· Excellent leadership skills and experience in the use of weapons specified in this Contract.
· SIA License
· Close protection qualification from an accredited provider (BTEC Level III and above)
· Previous in-country experience in a similar capacity and A working knowledge of Arabic (Iraqi dialect).
Job Duties:
The SSM is responsible for the management of the Static Guard Security.
Which includes:
· Synchronise security operations and Static Security.
· Information management · Coordinating mobile security operations
· Managing the operations rooms.
· Controlling emergency response/incident management
· Coordinating training (induction and continuation)
· Managing all leave cycles for Service Provider Personnel and managing venue reconnaissance database in consultation with the Intelligence Analyst reports.
· Coordinating with the client Security Managers on all visitors
· Liaising with clients · Scheduling work cycles
