Rotation: 1-2 weeks per rotation
The employer is a private US-based company seeking an experienced Covert Protection Agent with priorexperience as a solo EP practitioner and with prior security experience in Nicaragua. The selected agent will be providing covert counter-surveillance and close protection support to an American UHNW family while they are in Nicaragua. The contract rotation is based on the Client’s travel to and from their secondary residence in Nicaragua which occurs in 1-2 week periods, several times throughout the year. Because of the sporadic rotation, candidates who already reside in Nicaragua (or regularly travel to Nicaragua) and meet all other minimum and preferred qualifications in the sections below will be prioritized for preferential consideration in the selection process.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform mobile and static low-profile/covert protection and counter-surveillance
Conduct advance work and report on gathered intelligence
Travel in support of protective operations, both within and outside of Nicaragua
Practice OPSEC and COMSEC with sensitive and confidential material
Liaise with local authorities when applicable emergency situations arise
Flex and adapt as needed based on client needs
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (do not apply without meeting these minimum qualification requirements):
Prior SOF with experience operating in Nicaragua and/or other countries in Central America
Candidate must have 5+ years combined experience from either military and/or law enforcement as well as experience in protective operations
Must have executive protection (EP) experience in a solo practitioner capacity
Fluent or conversational in Spanish
Physically fit and able to blend into the native environment of Nicaragua
Pass a background check (no misdemeanors, felonies or other criminal charges)
Pass pre-employment drug screening and periodic, random drug screenings throughout employment
Possess a valid, current Passport
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior 18-series in 7th or 20th SFG
Candidates who meet all minimum qualifications and also currently reside in (or regularly travel to) Nicaragua
Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and possess a COVID-19 vaccine card (determines availability and eligibility for certain international travel)
Candidates who have experience providing executive protection for ultra-high net worth individuals (UHNWI)
