Title: Head Of Department Access & Security
Description:
YOUR POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
In collaboration with the Country Director, you are responsible for the entire security of the mission, including the implementation and monitoring of security management tools and documents, the monitoring of the global context of the country and the sub-region, the analysis of security and access incidents, the security validation of travel and field deployment operations in connection with the Field Coordinators, awareness-raising, training and briefing of Action Against Hunger teams on security and safety.
You collect, analyze and transmit information on the political-security situation and the evolution of the context
- Collection and capitalization of information related to security and the evolution of the context
- Analysis of the information collected - Communication of information and analysis
at mission
level - Participation and representation of Action Against Hunger in meetings on security with the various actors (NGOs, UN, national & local state and non-state actors)
You assess, monitor and manage risks and incidents impacting the access of teams to beneficiaries
- Risk assessment on all operational bases of the mission and regular
update - Reduction of identified risks and monitoring of the implementation of defined
risk reduction measures - Analysis and monitoring of incidents having an impact on teams' access to intervention
areas - Support in the drafting of security
incident reports - Supervision and support of the Country Director in security
incident management You develop and implement security and access management tools
- Definition of safety and security plans in coordination with the Field Coordinators and the Head of Logistics
Department - Definition of the access strategy for the mission
- Development and maintenance of the tools necessary for monitoring the context and safety
management You train and raise awareness among Action Against Hunger
teams - Training and awareness of national and expatriate staff on security
aspects - Review and conduct of security briefings and debriefings for all employees
YOUR PROFILE
- You have a higher degree in the field of logistics
, security management, administration, law, project management and or international relations - You have 5 years of successful experience in a similar position with a strong field
security component - You have been brought to operate within the state security apparatus or in peacekeeping
missions - You have an excellent communication and training
ability - You also have a great facility to meet new people and are able to build excellent relationships with various internal and external
interlocutors - You have a great sense of diplomacy and very good knowledge and skills in negotiation management - You are able to produce an analysis

- You have a good command of spoken and written
French - You have good knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and satellite
communication system - You are very flexible and honest
- You are able to work in perfect autonomy
- You are organized and rigoureux.se in the accomplishment of your tasks

YOUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Contractual
conditions 12 months fixed-term contract customary under French
law Remuneration and profits:
- Gross monthly entry salary from 2450 to 2800 EUR depending on experience
- Per diem and living expenses: 289EUR and 169EUR (cf eurocost) net, paid on the ground.
- + 150EUR Allowance context
- + 16% of the gross monthly salary of reimbursement pension insurance for non-French.
- + Child allowance (1500EUR/per year per child capped at 6000EUR annually)
Transport and accommodation:
- Support for travel to and from work.
- Single room in collective housing covered
