CPO Requirements
Please note: this is for a potential project, where the starting date has not yet been confirmed.
a. English capability at Level S4.
b. Good oral communication skills.
c. Minimum five (5) years of police, security or military experience in an international environment.
d. Current Security Industry Authority (SIA) Frontline Close Protection license (UK) or recognized equivalent.
e. Minimum two (2) year’s Close Protection experience in Somalia: Mogadishu / Somaliland / Puntland.
f. Minimum one (1) year of experience in supervisory/managerial positions.
g. Minimum three (3) years of experience in dealing/liaising with international and government organizations.
h. Licensed to carry assigned/authorized weapons.
i. Qualified in the use of authorized weapons and in the use of non-lethal means of control.
j. Trained or qualified to drive VR7 or equivalent armoured vehicles.
k. Minimum of FREC medical certification or recognized equivalent.
