Security Director directs and monitors the implementation of security policies for protection of industrial and commercial interest of Bissa Gold. The Security Director is also responsible for hiring, training and supervising new employees who would be a part of the department of security.
Security Director communicates with local authorities, security and defense forces on security matters.
Security Director reports to both the General and Functional Directors. He manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of complexity. He provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. Security Director gives input into developing the budget. He is capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.
Responsibilities:
Create, manage, maintain a sufficient intelligence/ information network.
Provide General Manager with strategic security analysis and overview.
Develop, implement, renew the tactical approaches of field operations to ensure a secure working environment.
Reporting criminal information to authorities.
Investigating crimes committed against Bissa Gold.
Planning personal security.
Analysing data of internal operations.
Advising about security weakness and procedures.
Maintain security awareness across the board of employees.
Direct all economic security operations.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree.
Minimum 5 years of experience in the defense forces (police, gendarmerie, military).
Minimum 10 years of experience in the private security industry.
Good knowledge of Africa and West Africa, with working experience.
Good technical knowledge is a plus (CCTV, access control, radio communication, etc.).
Driving license is mandatory.
Fluent French and English are mandatory languages.
Knowledge in some local languages and dialect is a plus.
Be physically fitted to operate under extreme weather.
Computer literate (windows pack office).

As per Lefa mine rotation and shift policy (56 working days on site, 28 vacation days travel trip included).
