How will I help?

Reporting into the Head of Operations, PNG and based in Port Moresby, you will assist with the high-level integration and project management of physical security projects, ensuring compliance with physical security and technology policies, agreed standards and risk assessment processes across all corporate, business banking, ATMs and branches including relocations, major/minor refurbishments, remedial works and make-goods. Amongst other responsibilities you will help by:

• Managing security incident response and associated reporting/escalation.
• Ensuring personal protection of staff locally.
• Managing local security training requirements.
• Managing physical security of day-to-day operations.
• All reporting in respect to Security operations and incidents.
• Providing oversight and direction to all contracted services and integrators tasked with system and database administration of Access Control system administration (including ID services, Alarm Monitoring, CCTV etc.).
• Managing vendor and strategic partnerships.

What do I need?

A minimum of 8 years’ experience of the security industry, including Business Continuity, Security Technology, Information Security, Information Communication Security, Information Technology Systems and architecture. You’ll be a great team player with extensive Project Management skills and have demonstrated ability to form effective relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.

You’ll be a ‘doer’ with the ability to focus on outcomes and deliver within agreed timeframes. You’ll also have relevant security licences and have significant exposure to physical security operational project activities, and dealing with security engineers and contractors within a large-scale operation and are accustomed to working with law enforcement. You will also have demonstrated knowledge of relevant risk management standards and the application of the standards to a commercial environment.
