The role is responsible for supervision of operational deployments and taking appropriate measures to maintain the level of Security readiness of all CTC establishments.
Reports to: LEX Director
Reporting Level: Individual Contributor
Geographic Scope: Colombo, Sri Lanka
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
Responsible for periodical Security Risk Management (SRM) inspections on all company establishments and reviewing security plans/operational procedures will form an important part of maintaining the operational readiness. You are to ensure 100% readiness of troops under your Command to counter any eventuality in your TAOR.
Contribute to Planning Cycle to meet Local Business and Regional Functional objectives.
Continuously review, implement, and maintain effective security policy, procedures, and practices to ensure safety and protection of all personnel, assets, information, and business operational activities.
Provide timely advice based on analysis of security risk / threat and impact to enable well informed business decision.
Develop “encouraging and customer service” orientated culture in the security team and lead them to act as a key supporting function adding value to the business and linking the Company guiding principles.
Develop and implement Security Awareness Programmes for all employees and business partners to ensure full cross-functional dedication to security policies, procedures and strategies through communication, training, and evaluation.
Build an effective internal network and proactively provide security and other possible support to all functions to achieve their business objectives and the integration of security services within the business.
CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE?
Do you possess twenty years of experience in either military or police?
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Professional qualification of military/ and/or Police institution; ideally a degree level (BSc) in Defence Studies or formal qualification in security management. For military officers, passed staff course (psc) is a mandatory requirement.
Should have minimum of twenty-two years of Military/Police experience
A Commissioned officer in the rank of Colonel or above and equivalent in Navy/Air force or Police Officer above the rank of a Superintendent of Police
Should have at least five years of Command experience at Battalion/Station/Unit level. Same level of experience on staff and training is a plus point.
Excellent command of English language (both oral and written) A high level of communications skills with ability to explain and defend difficult issues with respect to key decisions/ sophisticated concepts.
Proven track record of strong leadership skills in the management of security operations.
Expected applicants to be at the age of 50 or below
