GovSource, a subsidiary of IDS International, is looking for a Counter-Improvised Explosive Device (C-IED) Trainer for our Mobile Training Team (MTT). This position is part of a comprehensive training team located in/around Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, training Artillery Corps Soldiers of the Royal Saudi Land Forces (RSLF).
Responsibilities:
Ensure guidelines and standards are adhered to in accordance with existing government contract.
The training program will include basic and advanced Counter-Improvised Explosive Device (C-IED) courses.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience working within the designated functional area with no less than one-year of supervising individuals performing individual course training.
Military service as an:
US Army Special Forces Officer / 18A (MAJ – LTC) or
Special Forces Engineer Sergeant (SFC – CSM) / 18C.
Possess the technical training, able to provide knowledge of all tasks and skills required to properly execute, demonstrate, and instruct individual courses are required.
Must be a US citizen.
Recent and successful experience conducting MTTs in the CENTCOM AOR.
Detailed knowledge of Microsoft office suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Security Assistance Team (SAT) Team Leader or SAT member.
Army Center of Excellence or the Special Operations Center of Excellence instructing training.
Must be an effective communicator both verbally and in writing. Most positions require ability to work on a desktop or laptop computer for extended periods of time. Computer activities include reading, reviewing and analyzing information, as well as providing recommendations, summaries, and reports in written or verbal format. Additionally, positions require ability to sit at a workstation for extended periods; use hand(s) to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; as well as speak and hear.
Employee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically less than 20 pounds. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
