Force Protection Supervisor - Iraq

Summary: 


Provide management and administrative functions necessary for the safe, efficient, and effective execution of Force Protection support services to the program. Collaborate and directly interface with government officials on all facets of Force Protection operations to include daily and emergent operations and planning. Provide program oversight of Force Protection requirements to the Site. Act as a point of contact for the Site Manager and INL/A Aviation Advisors o all security, personnel recovery, OPSEC, ad Force Protection.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support badging of assigned personnel and is the SME on requirements
Brief the FP updates to senior staff as needed and participate in site manager and other directed Embassy meetings.
Provide security updates related to hostile fire incidents and or any other emergency conditions/situation.
Prepare customer briefings and serves as a site primary weapons trainer.
Coordinate actions and information with the RSO including new persons threat brief, updates to the FOB FP posture, and any threats that impact air wing operations
Responsible for 100% completion of Missing Person Information Cards on all assigned personnel. Coordinate with the PMO for TDY personnel.
Responsible for safe and efficient Force Protection and Security operations at the site.
Responsible for coordinating all range support with the appropriate supporting POC. Maintain accurate weapons qualifications documents for all assigned personnel.
Coordinate actions weapons qualification actions with the RSO and other assigned security personnel (WPS, etc...). Capable of qualifying personnel on assigned weapons IAW with RSO requirements.
Ensure all mission orders are consistent with and in support of contract requirements.
Maintains strong relationships with key customers and liaison to Department of State personnel.
Provide oversight for Force Protection/Security operations on site.
Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION

Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelors preferred
Certificate of graduation from relevant military schools (Security Forces, Military Police, Small Arms Range Instructor) 18 (B, C, D, E, F) or 11B, 31B, Navy 0311, AFSC 3P0X1- Air Force Security Forces.

Preferred:

High Risk Driving Course. BFFOC.

Skills & Experience

Required:
Experience Combat Arms and/or Security related CMF.
Completion of associated supported weapons school before or incident to assignment
Extensive military experience in Security and/or Intelligence-related matters.
Eight (8) or more years of Physical Security, Industrial Security, or Antiterrorism/Force Protection or an equivalent combination of training and experience is necessary.
Previous leadership/management experience leading a large employee base.

Two (2) or more years security operations experience in the Middle East/Central Asia, (Afghanistan preferred)Theater or similar theater of operations.
Demonstrated experience in:
Conducting base security/assessment
Inter-personal skills (i.e., establish and maintain rapport with Host Nation Security and Intelligence agencies).
Assessing Threat and Friendly Force capabilities.
Proficiency in the operation, and implementation (in the defense) of light and medium weapons (M16A2, M4 carbine, 9mm pistol, M60 MG).
Conducting safety familiarization and live-fire training on light weapons (M16A2, M4, 9mm or Glock 19 pistol).
Perimeter defense procedures and principles

Preferred:

Counter-terrorist experience is desired.

English speaking and written communications skills
