Primary Purpose:
To protect Goodyear associates, contractors, visitors, property, and brand ("Our Good Name").
Primary Responsibilities:
• Manage all 3rd party (contract) security providers, including but not limited to, uniformed guard services (armed and unarmed), security transportation services, and security consulting / investigative services.
• Develop and maintain all Policies, Procedures, and/or Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for the site security program, to include all security personnel training initiatives.
• Responsible for maintaining C-TPAT (U.S. Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism), BASC (Business Alliance for Secure Commerce), and/or AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) program compliance.
• Responsible for conducting assessments (security audits) and assisting with investigations, in coordination with Goodyear Global Investigations & Security Services (“Global Security”), including but not limited to, theft, breaches in security, workplace violence / threats, extortion, kidnapping, and company policy and ethics violations.
• Coordinate all in-country executive (plant leadership) and/or associate protection (transportation) services, per Global Security standards.
• Provide periodic safety and security awareness training to Colombia-based associates, contractors, and expatriates.
• Active involvement in all business continuity and contingency planning initiatives throughout Colombia.
• Serve as liaison with municipal (local), state, and national government agencies, to include Police, Military, Fire, and Emergency Response, in addition to other private entities.
Required:
• Previous law enforcement (police), private security, and/or military experience
Desired:
• Business Administration, Security Management, Security Consulting (Advisor), Private Security Investigator
• Professional Certification (CPP, PSP, PCI, or APP) through ASIS International
Required:
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar positions (police, military, and/or private security – manufacturing, supply chain, or executive protection)
