We are currently recruiting for a Security Manager to join our team in Delhi. The Security Manager will provide security expertise to the commercial team, helping to drive client satisfaction and profitable growth within South Asia region. As a regionally-based security expert, the incumbent will drive the positioning of International SOS solutions that focus on building resilience for a majority of the world’s corporate organizations, scholastic institutions, governments and IGO’s through a host of subscription based services as well as consulting & training endeavours. The Security Manager will support the delivery of best-in-class analysis, advice and assistance via an operational remit to our South Asia Security Centre.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Marketing Support:
Drive the growth of the Workforce Resilience solutions in South Asia, through a focus on the quality of service and support to International SOS sales and marketing efforts
Support in the management of security sales pipeline in conjunction with the sales teams
Major focus on driving the growth of security services business as a key strategic agenda
Participate in International SOS marketing activities, including speaking engagements
Provide local market, customer and competitor insight
Whitespace analysis on existing clients and prospects
Operations & intelligence:
Provide support to the delivery South Asia operations
Develop understanding South Asia headquartered client’s global exposure as well as other requirements to ensure effective operational readiness
Ensure close coordination with Security peers in other markets for understanding the business interest and exposure of international clients invested in South Asia
Provide guidance to South Asia Security Specialists on scanning and report writing
Support the mentoring and management of South Asia based Security Specialists
Participate in the South Asia Security Centre desk roster and 24/7 on-call operations coverage as a member of the Duty Operations Manager team
Deploy as part of an Incident Management Team in response to an incident where clients require on-the-ground assistance
Consulting & Training:
Drive the Security Consulting Practice growth and develop innovative consulting solutions in the region
Identify, scope, and deliver Security Consulting and Training, Managed Services and all other security solutions, in close coordination with South Asia and Asia Pacific leadership teams
Required Experience & Skills
Experience in security operations management: in military, government, or private sector roles
Extensive experience within the region
Strong understanding of security and risk mitigation concepts
Business development, consultancy and sales aptitude
Planning and execution of security operations and/or reporting and analysis and/or risk or crisis management experience
Strong knowledge of the global political and security landscape
Excellent spoken and written English and full proficiency in at least one other South Asian language
Educated to degree level or equivalent. Degree level qualification in politics, international relations or related subject is desired.
