Role Requirements


Essential
Proof of progressive management experience including in international environments (not including military service) over a minimum of 8 years
Minimum 2 years as a project manager
Demonstrable experience of financial control including an understanding of cost benefit analysis as well as developing, delivering and analysing a budget
Operational experience in hostile environments
Proven high level of client handling skills
Detailed knowledge and understanding of the operational and tactical requirements for mobile and static armed security operations
Knowledge and experience of HR processes
Possess tact, sound judgement and ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing
Strong communications and IT skills, including use of all Microsoft programmes; Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
Minimum Level 3 medical qualifications such as Qualsafe’s FREC Level
In-country Somalia and regional experience preferable

Services

Under the direction of the MD IPS & VP Global Ops services provided by the Contractor shall be those typically expected for someone in the Position and include, but not be limited to the provision of building and maintaining the operational platform required to deliver GW’s security services ensuring the safety and security of all client staff and other personnel who come under duty of care of RMT, Somalia.


Responsible for management, leadership, supervision and operational delivery of all contractors and projects deployed across GW Somalia Business area.
Responsible for producing, regular revision, and adherence of all SOPs and SOIs specific to GW Somalia
Responsible for implementing, maintaining and auditing of GardaWorld Operational Excellence standards in line with internal and international accreditations.
Responsible for management oversight of all contractor management processes for all contractors deployed across GW Somalia area of operations.
Responsible for regional reporting to GardaWorld Senior Leadership team.
Developing new and maintaining existing client relationships across area of responsibility
Supporting GardaWorld Commercial Support Team as required.
Providing management oversight for all regional financial requirements.
Any other direction or reasonable request given by appropriate GardaWorld Management team in accordance with GW Standard Operating Procedures and Guidelines.
