Project Manager (Security Guard Force) - Germany

The Project Manager (PM) must have experience and qualifications on a range of security-related skills and have a verified record of proven reliability and good conduct.

Duties
Provide proactive program management of a guard force consisting of 100-300 personnel.
Analyze the operational security environment throughout the region, country, and city.
Work closely with the client (a U.S. government representative) to ensure the guard force’s security posture is commensurate with overall threat levels.
Be responsible for quality control and contract compliance.
Be dedicated full time to support the contract and be responsive to the client on matters related to contract performance on a 24/7 basis.


Required Experience
Minimum ten years of police, military, security, or guard force management experience, with a minimum of five years of the work experience being at the supervisory or command levels.
Minimum of five years’ work experience in Germany or in the region.
Experience in program or project management.
Experience managing security staff.
Possess intimate knowledge of overseas security environments and have familiarity with recent trends and specific threats in Germany.
Program and/or project management skills.
Risk management skills, including problem identification, risk management planning, qualitative risk analysis and problem solving and security-related skills.
Verifiable record of proven reliability and good conduct
Computer literacy, including the ability to use common office management tools (e.g. Microsoft Office).
Experience with multiple levels of communication among various levels of management.
Be able to maintain and manage communication between all parties.
Expertise in all areas of physical security and access control.
Must understand operational methods of all guard force units and zones for response.
Must be capable of maintaining a professional demeanor under highly stressful circumstances.
Be experienced in basic communications and radio use/procedures.
Be able to define, sequence and estimate activities and resources.
Experience acquiring, developing, and managing project teams
Be licensed to carry/use a firearm in Germany or be able to obtain a license within 30 days of employment.


Citizenship and Residency Requirements
Must be a citizen of Germany, a U.S. citizen, or a Third Country National in possession of a valid current work visa for Germany or have the ability to obtain a work visa prior to the start of employment.
Must speak German AND English - language speaking/reading skill level of S4/R4 on the ILR scale.
Must be legally able to drive in Germany.
Must live in Berlin/Frankfurt/Munich or be willing to relocate.

Education
Secondary education, poly-technical school or have a national diploma or Associate’s degree.
