Role Responsibility
The Bodyguard will report directly to the CP Team Leader (or delegate), carry out his or her duties in a professional manner, understand CP and bodyguard principles, and to help to ensure team awareness and coordination.
Performing bodyguard duties;
Conducting and coordinate advance logistics;
Driving the limo (Armoured Vehicle), advance and chase vehicles;
Reconnaissance of any facility or events that is scheduled;
Provide armed close protection security services anywhere in Afghanistan;
All CPOs report to the CP Team Leader, carry out his or her duties in a
professional manner, provide exemplary leadership, understand CP principles and ensure team, awareness and coordination, and is armed and is expected to contribute to the defense of the embassy during an emergency.
The Ideal Candidate
Ideally French/English speaking
The Contractor must provide a bodyguard with a minimum 6 years military/police experience in a NATO member country and/or UK/USA agreements alliance signatory
Must have 2 years of experience as a bodyguard to a high-level official.
Minimum rank of NATO equivalent OR-6 and honorable discharge.
Minimum 24 months’ experience in an area of active conflict, including at least 12 months experience in Kabul, Afghanistan.
The Body Guard must have previous experience as a bodyguard for high-level officials during high-level visits and experience with the operational planning cycle.
Must hold UK/US/AUS/NZ or Canadian nationality
