Background And Objectives Of The Function: 

Country Management Support Units have been established in the organizational structure to provide support for WHO property, people, equipment from a variety of hazards such as waste, damaged property, unsafe worker behavior, criminal activity such as theft, etc by enforcing preventative measures.

Purpose Of The Position: 
WHO Country Management Support Unit provide assistance and guidance to the staff regarding all the travel-related information and requests, in compliance with WHO travel policy and regulations.

Description Of Duties: 
Summary of Assigned Duties (Describe what the incumbent has to do to achieve main objectives; include main achievements expected):
To provide operational support to the Country Security Team for all safety and security related operations within the WCO premises;
To provide support in ensuring the safety and security of the WHO Personnel and assets, within the WCO Premises;
To provide support in implementing the WHO Security Access Control Procedures for the WCO;
To ensure all office doors are locked and secured after office hours, during weekends and holidays, unless specifically approved to be opened by WHO FSO or WHO OO;
To ensure all Security Perimeter Lights are switched on during dark hours and switched off during daylight hours;
To ensure WCO Generators are switched on when required and to monitor fuel levels and consumption to ensure operational readiness;
To ensure proper functionality of all Fire Safety Equipment, and that all Fire Extinguishers a properly replaced/refilled when expired or used;
To ensure all safety and security incidents which occurred within the WCO Premises are reported to the WHO FSO and WHO Operations Officer;
To be familiar with the Emergency Contact Numbers/Persons for; UNDSS Emergency Response team, UNMISS Fire Brigade, UNMISS Level II Emergency Room, WS Insight Response Crew and other emergency related units/agencies;
To perform other task as instructed by Supervisor including Ad Hoc Safety and Security task.

Required Qualifications: 
Education
Essential: Completion of secondary education.

Desirable:
Experience:
Essential: At least 5 years related experience in the field of Security, Military, Law Enforcement or Private Security.
